Q: Kindly, give us a fatwa regarding slaughtering in the area of
Al-Mu`aysim
during Hajj. Is this place inside or outside Al-Haram? May Allah benefit people with your knowledge and make you among the successful!

A:
It is permissible to
slaughter the Hady (sacrificial animal offered by pilgrims) in
Al-Mu`aysim because it is from Al-Haram. All the area stretching between the installed banners on the borders of
Al-Haram is part of Al-Haram. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
All the roads of Makkah are pathways and a place of sacrifice.
